Disney Dreams Do Come True

Disney Dreams Do Come True

In July 2024 I became a mom. To celebrate one year of our little family being together this past July, I finally crossed the biggest, most sparkling “Disney Dreams” off my bucket list. As travel advisor, I spend my days meticulously planning magic for others. But as a mom, I realized there is a profound difference between knowing the magic and witnessing it through your child’s eyes. Last year, those two worlds collided in the most beautiful way.

Aloha from the Polynesian

Our journey began at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, where we checked into the King Kamehameha Club. From the moment they placed a lei around our necks and led us to the private Hawaii longhouse, the world slowed down. The real magic, however, happened at 8:00 PM. Instead of fighting the crowds on Main Street, we were tucked away in our theme park view room framing Cinderella Castle across the Seven Seas Lagoon. With a plate of warm desserts, a glass of bubbles for Mom & Dad and the Happily Ever After soundtrack piped directly into the room, I watched my daughter’s face light up with every burst of color. Watching the fireworks from our own “tropical sanctuary” wasn’t just a perk; it was a core memory in the making.

Wishing Upon a Star at Sea

The magic followed us from the land to the sea as we stepped into the Grand Hall of the Disney Wish . If you’ve never seen a child realize they are literally inside a fairytale, the Wish is where it happens.

The AquaMouse: We braved Disney’s first-ever “attraction at sea,” laughing through the spray as Mickey and Minnie’s cartoons played on the tunnel screens.

Arendelle: A Frozen Dining Adventure: We didn’t just eat dinner; we celebrated an engagement with Elsa and Olaf. Seeing her wave to Anna while eating “Arendelle-inspired” treats was a reminder that Disney dining is truly theater.

Palo: While our little was happily playing in the “Its a Small World Nursery”, my husband and I got to enjoy an amazing multicourse brunch. It was the best way to celebrate our first year of parenthood together

More Than Just a Vacation

Experiencing these moments as both a professional and a parent reminded me why I love what I do. The “magic” isn’t an accident—it’s in the details, the logistics, and the thoughtful upgrades that turn a stressful trip into a seamless experience. As your travel advisor, I am so excited to help you navigate everything new and returning, from the latest resort perks to those “must-do” family upgrades. Whether you’re eyeing the tropical luxury of the Polynesian or the high-seas adventure of the Wish, or doing both like us, I’m here to make sure your logistics are handled so you can focus on the fireworks. Its time to make your Disney Dreams come true too!
